As you plan for your travels to Redwood Christian Park,  we highly recommend you utilize the directions noted below rather than follow those that your GPS may offer.  With a variety of routes to camp for your consideration, those listed below take into account terrain, mobile phone coverage, available roadside services and overall ease.   We are happy to assist you in planning your route, so do feel free to call our office at 831-338-2134 for assistance.

Overnight closures on Hwy 9 at Brookdale can be expected 10PM-6AM SUN-THURS nights:  This will NOT affect Friday night guests coming to Redwood, but will affect Thursday late night travelers coming to RCP from the south.

After 10 pm, the official detour for those traveling from the south (trying to get to the camp from the Felton/Scotts Valley side of the closure) will be Hwy 17 N to Bear Creek Rd (see * below) to Hwy 9 (turn right off of Bear Creek towards the camp). Do not go through Scotts Valley IF you plan on arriving after 10 pm. PLEASE NOTE: this detour is only necessary for guests planning to arrive AFTER 10 pm Sunday-Thursday nights!! If you are arriving before 10 pm or are coming anytime on Friday or Saturday you will be fine following the directions below.

*Bear Creek Road will NOT be open 10/18-19, due to fires.
